During December 2011, CJ Wilson visited the Phiten head offices in Japan. CJ is a Major League Baseball player for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, and is a longtime fan of Phiten products. We interviewed him about his favorites, including the Phiten UPG series, and Phiten's impact on him.
Once I experienced the power of Phiten, I used it more and more
I first tried Phiten during spring training in 2005, when recovering from my elbow surgery. I tried RAKUWA Necklace and Power Tape and felt difference. After that, I visited the Phiten shop three times a year when our team has a game in Seattle. At the shop there, I learnt a lot about products and tried them one after another. As I used a lot of products including the drinking water and bed pad, I became more interested in Phiten. I often give Phiten shirts and socks to my teammates as a present wishing them to feel the power of Phiten that I believe.
Wearing the X100 intensifies my concentration
I wear the X100 because it helps me concentrate, and I like the design. It has more weight to it and makes a stronger impression with its premium design and materials. It's great that it works both on the field and off - I can wear it any time. During the game, I usually wear the Tornado *1 model or sports style necklace, but when I am off, I want to wear something that can match a more fashionable or formal style. The variety of choices with design, color, length and feel is also a plus.

The incredible variety of uses for Phiten's unique technology surprised me
When I visited PSS*2 and IP Salon*3, I saw so many methods of caring for customers and I was impressed with its potential. My favorite is the O2 Chamber, which I always use. I use the Metal Shower *4 as well, which is also good. I was surprised that the unique technology is applied to many products, even things like chairs and tatami mats.
What I always believe is that if there is something you want to happen, you work hard for it - "Make it happen." That's my mantra. I firmly believe that this philosophy is what brought me through my career, from a relief pitcher to closer and then to a starting pitcher. I look forward to working even harder to contribute even more.

CJ Wilson was born November 18, 1980 in California, USA. He is a left-handed pitcher for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. He made his major league debut as a Texas Ranger in 2005. Since 2007, he played as closer and achieved his best performance. In 2010, he was awarded the starting position and made a big leap by taking the mound in 33 games, playing a team-high of 204 innings and winning a team-high of 15 games. In 2011, he started in the Opening Day game and was selected as an All-Star. That year, he fulfilled his position as the Ranger's ace by taking the mound for 34 games and winning his personal best and team-high of 16 games. On December 8th 2011, he signed with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. <As of December 15th 2011>
